Service usage

• EdSalad strives to maintain 24/7 availability of the website. However, access to the website may be temporarily suspended without prior notice in case of system failure, maintenance, repair, or other factors beyond EdSalad’s control. EdSalad cannot be held responsible if the website becomes unavailable for any reason or during any period.

 

User-provided content and actions

• Using User-provided Content for purposes other than private, non-commercial research or study is strictly prohibited for all Users.
• Posting or transmitting any material on the site that is threatening, defamatory, obscene, indecent, seditious, offensive, pornographic, abusive, discriminatory, likely to incite racial hatred, menacing, scandalous, inflammatory, blasphemous, in breach of confidence or privacy, or may cause annoyance or inconvenience is strictly prohibited.
• EdSalad will provide complete cooperation to any law enforcement authorities or court order that requests or directs EdSalad to disclose, identify or locate the individual(s) who posted any Inappropriate User-provided content.
• EdSalad is not responsible for continuously monitoring any forums that may be available on the site for Inappropriate User-provided content. By agreeing to this, you acknowledge that EdSalad is not liable for any consequences if it decides, at its discretion, to edit, restrict, or remove the User-provided content from time to time.

 

Transactions made on the website

The following terms and conditions shall be applicable to all purchases made through the website or student portal:

  • The product listing will display the price of each item, and any sales or special offers will show the discounted price. The price displayed includes all fees and is in South African Rands unless stated otherwise.
  • We retain the right to decline or halt the processing of any order and cancel it if fraud is suspected.
  • The portal will maintain a complete record of all sales and transactions between you and EdSalad for 12 months after the sale or transaction date. You may view and print this record during this period, but after 12 months, it will be your responsibility to keep your own record of the sale or transaction.

This information is protected under applicable intellectual property laws, and any reproduction, distribution, publication, or use, in whole or in part, other than as described in the following paragraph, is strictly prohibited.
